The End Of An Era

Hi everyone!    For better or worse we have come to another end. This will be my final post for this term and I have mixed emotions regarding it; I feel sort of happy and proud that I have completed all these tasks accomplishedly. On the other hand I feel sad that this will be my last post of this course. I mean when I fırst heard about this blog thing I thought It was unnecessary and useless but then gradually I realized that I had begun to like and now I am used to it. It is like one of my routines. That's why I will keep posting useful posts in my blog whether it is a task or not. Because I really enjoy it now and I want other people to enjoy it as well. I remember at the beginning of this course I couldn't comprehend the concept of 21'st century learning but now after having done many activities on my blog  I can assure you that I sense and comprehend it much better and clearly and I would like to  share it with the rest of the world and particularly with my futu

Then let me explain them to you shortly:   An infographic is a useful and an informative graphic that lets you reach the information or data  you need in a short time. And web 2.0 tools are of  technology that allow teachers and students alike to create, collaborate, edit and share content on-line that is user-generated. On The Road Again!

Hi everyone!      In this post i will tell you about my fictional magazine assignment for Educational Technologies class.    So for the assignment we were supposed to make unique  magazine covers about certain topics. I chose to design a travel magazine, which is called En Route  and my motto was Explore Yourself . Also, it has three introductory titles of three articles that let you explore three different lives and places around the world .      I used Canva to edit and design the cover and it really helped me through the task, i must say. Children Of The Future

Hey everyone! Today I will tell you about my digital story telling experience and some information about the content of the project. I prepared a PSA( Public Service Announcement) with my group mates; Mert and Buğra . Our announcement is about families ignoring their kids. So we made a short video about it.  We wanted to express some issues that many kids go through nowadays and it will get worse as it goes in the near future. We need to have more time with our kids because if we don't they will never forgive us as the consequences will put them in very tough position and it will be irreversible. Padlet: A great website!

Hey everyone! today we'll talk about Padlet, a platform in which you can share your thoughts with others and learn new things. We, a group of 4 students decided to write about "climate change".  When you first start it, you see three sections;             1- What we know      2- What we want to know      3- What we learned Accordingly you fill these blank sections and see your other mates ideas, questions and conclusions which is a great opportunity to have different perspectives about a topic. Frankly, this has been a nice and useful activity for me and hopefully for my group mates because during this project We have learned many things about the subject we chose. Moreover, it strengthened the relationship between me and my project mates and it promoted me more and more to be involved in such activities. An introduction to podcasts

Hi everyone!  Today we will talk about podcasts and their influence on our lives. Moreover i will mention about the process and the podcast i prepared for this post. What's a podcast? A digital audio file available on the internet for downloading in a computer or mobile device.  What is my podcast about? It is about discrimination and it's reflection on today's world. My process of podcasting: It was very enjoyable making and editing a podcast. In the process, i tried to pay attention to my pronunciation and intonation so that the audience will get me clearly, also as this is an educational blog i avoided making grammatical mistakes as much as i can because it can mislead the audience.  In the near future, i will definitely draw on podcast as far as possible because this will help my students learn more actively and improve their speaking and listening skills.   See you on the next posts, take care!
