21st Century Learning: From My Perspective

Hi everyone!

Today I'd like to discuss about 21st century learning. So first of all what does come to your mind when hearing 21st century? Internet, computers, smart phones? Did you notice that all these things are relating to technology somehow? What do you think about the words “technology and learning” being used together and are there essential skills for learning in the century?

In today's world we can see that we are all surrounded by technology. Such as computers, internet, smart boards, televisions etc. Technology has become a very essential tool for learning in the century. It is obvious technology has done very good for education. For example students can watch educational videos on YouTube. It is very important for teachers to be aware of 21st century skills and to integrate technology with teaching. Projects used in schools can be a good example for integration of technology and teaching. There are some crucial skills for learners of this century and they are called 4Cs.

So according to 21st century learning students must learn and comprehend these skills. Getting these skills will help students keep up with today’s and future’s world. Teachers should be aware of these factors and they should try to find integrate technology to the learning.
